What wooden insert?

I just purchased a new Ryobi BT3100 from Home Depot with the accessory kit. I have finished setting it up and have a question about the "wooden insert" shown but not mentioned in the manual texts (table saw and router table accessory). This insert is also referred to in the setup DVD.
I am assuming that I need to provide this insert. What are the dimensions and is it as simple as just cutting one to an approximate width and length to fit? What about the thickness? Do I need to make it the same height as the main table or is below OK?
I did a couple cuts to test the saw and was very impressed. I am used to a tool's accuracy limiting the quality of my work. This saw makes me the limiting factor.

Ok, I found some dimensions at the bottom of page 29 (5 in wide x 22 inch long x 3/4 inch thick). This may work for the left side but will it also work for the right side next to the router when it is mounted?
