Thanks for the post. Bought three and got 10% VET. Discount as well. These are being sold for less than their smallest model. These lights are very sturdy.

I should have mentioned how durable this light looks and feels! And BRIGHT too! I got two for both my sons as Birthday gifts. I liked it so well I went back and got another one for myself! Interesting thing is that it was marked at full price on the display. I thought the clerk only scanned one of the two lights and told her the amount was not right. She said no, I got them both - they must be on sale! Merry Christmas!!!

The Sale is over! Checked the price when I was in the store today; also checked the on-line price.

For Amazon buyers, you can get similar prices and lower (and higher, way, way higher) with lumens from 200 to 2000+ for prices of $15 to $40. Got to be careful and look for shipping time. Some originate in Hong Kong / China. My wife is a PRIME member and I gauge them by Prime, which means they are more than likely in the US of A.

2 years ago, I bought three of this one:
            http://www.amazon.com/Bright-Lumens-...H3VXQBC33Z9P5G

and 3 sets of batteries and 3 chargers. LOML has one in her car, I have one in my car and we have one at home.

And I bought 5 of these, one for my night stand, LOML's night stand and one for each daughter.

The CREE lights are absolutely fantastic.

Another CREE light that I cannot do without is the 18V/120V Ryobi 20W light:
