I had a customer die unexpectedly a couple of months ago and his wife is trying to liquidate his shop. Gary did custom cabinets and woodwork. She told me today that Gary joked that his 401K was in the shop rafters.\
Most, if not all the tools are gone. Most of what is left is lumber stock. Some of what I saw included:
Wenge, one piece about 6 -7 bd ft
Bloodwood, 6-8 pieces 8' long maybe 6" wide
Peruvian Walnut, several pieces
A lot of Mahogany, Oak, old growth reclaimed pine....
I was working and didn't have time to get into pricing. I think one of the other tenants in the building is helping her to show / sell the wood but I will have to get more details on that.
Anyone in the Austin area that wants to check it out PM me and I will give you the address and shop name. She said there would be somebody there on Monday.
