I have a whole complement of those HF alum bar clamps, HumorMe00, but there's just one issue with them. They don't open up to the distance that they are called. For example, a 24" clamp may only open to 21 ?/32 - I don't really know and it does change with where the jaws are placed. Still, they are a pretty fair clamp for the money spent.
    Blessings,

Nothing wrong with pipe clamps. I have them with ½" and ¾" pipe. For well fitted joints, they don't need to be tightened to make them bend. Their weight doesn't bother me. When I first started, that's all I used until I could afford anything else.
