    Grizzly 14" Band Saw Sale - G0555LX

I had my shopping cart full on Friday and was going to pull the trigger on their G0555P band saw, but I am glad I waited until today. Their G0555LX went on sale from $545 to $445 and is the same saw as the G0555/G055P with only the 3 below differences, confirmed by chatting with customer service (and looking at their comparison chart). There is also a 10% coupon available that I got from tommyt654 that I believe is share-able. PM me for it.

    1. Computer-balanced cast iron wheels
    2. Rack-and-pinion guide post adjustment for upper blade guides
    3. Sturdy T-shape fence design

I have the G0555P and really like it! I think you will like the LX version well!

I bought mine when it was $425. Two weeks later it went up to close to $500.

It looks like a nice saw for the money. I like the switch location.

I also purchased the riser kit with it. Now I can't wait for it to arrive. I am sure it will take a view hours to put together...

Wow, it looks like the price already went back up. That was a quick sale. They had an anniversary band saw at that same price. It was all black with gold. It looked good, but wasn't due in until June. That might show up again as a good deal if someone can wait.

I didn't test this out, but maybe because it was sitting in my cart all weekend they dropped the price to see if I would bite... It worked

It still showed $445 at 0530 CDT today. Nice saw. Perfect time to put in the riser block too--might as well start with it it's there!!

I've had great luck with the blades from http://woodcraftbands.com/Pricing%20page.htm Their prices are very competitive and the service is top notch. Considering the smallish motor on your saw I'd recommend you stick to blades ½" or less in width.

itto on what Sween and whomever else gave that recommendation, I'd get a variety of sizes and widths till you figure out exactly what you'll be doing the most with.If your primarily going to be making curved cuts however I strongly recommend not having the riser installed as it tend's to be less effective to me in longer stretches vs a 93 1/2 inch blade, but thats just my opinion, others will for sure chime in and you'll here the inevitable Iturra recommendations tho while I visited his shop in Jacksonville I was less than impressed than most apparently, he does offer a few decent items for sale in his catalog but so does most everyone else. The guys at Woodcraftbands are easy to get along with and will make recommendation based on yrs of practical usage with their great blades at very reasonable prices and can help with any issues regarding blade selection as well, but by all mean grab 5 at a minimum to start and go from there. The Grizzly blades from what I have heard are not very good in usage it appears compared with others, happy sawing

I saw it at the reduced price - and the Anniversary black/gold one also. Great buy and a great price.
