    Last time this was $199

from Toolking through Newegg. The HEPA filter itself is $60 to $100.

I think there is free ship code too. I don't have it handy.

Well, if I was looking for a shop vac - this would be too expensive. If I was looking for a high-power'd shop vac, this would be too light. In that case, the Attix Alto is the only way to go - but much more pricy. This is a good price for a mid-line unit though. Probably as good as the Festool for most people's uses.

Table saw and sander produce fine dust. For fine dust you don't need much pressure, so for these devices a dust collector will be a better choice. Ridgid shop vac seems to have more airflow and less pressure than Dewalt, so for table saw/sander I would stick with Ridgid.

Different story - a small dust collector starts at about 600 CFM and about same money as this unit. It is alo not a lot bigger than a shopvac.
