Was it the LS1016L or the LS1016? You gotta love HD and the "was" pricing. The LS1016L had been selling for $499 at the local HD forever until recently when they lowered the price to $449. Both the LS1016L(w/laser) and the LS1016 are great SCMS's and I would recommend either and $424 is a great price IMO.

I also was at HD looking for the close out priced Ridgid magnetic featherboard, they didn't have any. The Ridgid table saw here is still priced at $499 however the Makita SCMS has completely disappeared. Even the space is used to sit in now has something else sitting there. If HD is clearing them out this may the best price anyone will ever see on that saw.

Wow! Find yourself a Lowe's 'mover's coupon' or Military discount and this is one sweet deal on a great CMS. Mine is better than I'll ever be! HD cardholders get 12 mos no finance charge as well!

What's the SKU? Then I can call around and see if any local stores still have one.

453-792, as shown on the yellow tag displaying the $374 price. and if i may offer a humble suggestion. if you really want one, calling stores with the sku can potentially be a waste of time. HD's store level inventory control system is, IMHO, incredibly inaccurate. i've found table saws (3650s, 3660, ad=nd 4511s), planers, jointers and other items in the overheads when a store's system indicated zero on hand. personal visual inspection is, based on my experience, the best way to secure a desired item. just my $.02.

088381099585 is the number on my receipt that I got in August when I bought mine. Paid way more than $374 too.......

that's probably the bar code. the sku is usually shown above the price on those yellow price tags.
