I'm headed to the St Louis area this weekend, so i've been noodling on the area CL to see what i might score (nothing so far--thankfully!!). Somebody with that many planes must have a few decent ones.

Allthough it is in the tools listings they could be rubber band powered and have a propellor.

I called the guy, asking if he has a shoulder plane, and he acknowledged that he has over 300 planes but does not know what a shoulder plane is. Maybe he is not the original owner of all these 300 planes. Anyway, he said he will Google "shoulder plane" and gives me a call back if he has one in his collection.

Yeah, as i browsed CL more, sounds like some sort of resale shop. Has ads to buy almost every tool there is, offering "more than pawn shops". Only time i'm free is tomorrow night--and i have a feeling the "shop" is not somewhere i want to be at night. If it rains at any point over the weekend, i'll see how far it is from the drag strip.

Sorry for the wild goose chase, definitely not an estate sale!!
