    HF Multifunction Tool

It's not on their website, but in a flier. I get sales fliers in the newspaper, and magazines. You might have received one. The sale is for $16.99 (an original coupon) for this tool.

If you don't find one, I have a few that I will mail out FCFS.

It's easier to scan the coupon and make it a pdf or a jpg and post it.
HF doesn't care if it's printed in color or B/W.

It states on the bottom of the coupon...must be an original coupon.

        But is it any good?

Yeah, I've seen this advertised before, but is it any good? Does anyone have one?

I have one. I bought it as a fluke just to try out. I wouldn't be without it now.

Same here. Bought mine to try out professionally. Intended on replacing it with a Bosch or other when it tore up but the darn thing won't quit. We use it on almost ever job.

Bosch blades will interchange, Porter Cable & Dremel will not. Bosch blades are $20 a piece, HF are only like $7-$8. They used to include an assortment of blades and a sander attachment, now they only include a plunge cut blade. Great tool IMHO.

I picked up the VS model yesterday. I am working on some windows around the house. I have only used the sanding attachment so far. It works better than I expected, not very loud at all. This model came with a couple of sanding triangles, scraper, two blades and a nice case with two smaller cases that fit in the larger one for blades and stuff. This is a handy little tool. Has anyone ever walked out of HF buying only what they went in for?

I have one and like it. I recently used it while re-finishing my deck and sanding in the hard to get places. Get a good quality sandpaper and it does very well. The stock stuff it comes with is junk.

I would like to change my past comments.
                      Mine did eventually fail.
Took it out to use one day and the shaft had sheared off.
Bought the Rockwell version from Lowe's.
                      Like it much better.

I'm pretty sure mine was on sale for about $80.00.

                        HF multifunction tool

I have two of these tools, one I bought new at HF, the other one I bought at a thrift store for $10.00. They work great for what they are, only complaint is
blades are cheap quality and dull fairly quickly, but other mfgr's blades can be used on this tool. The one's that I have are the single speed models, so I can't comment on the variable speed models that HF sells. Overall, a decent tool for the money, and it is a better deal @$16.99! eezlock

I've found that the Bosch blades last considerably longer than their HF counterparts which makes them less expensive overall. Check the prices at Amazon as many there are only a few dollars more than the HF ones.
