    Possible Deal

OK,So HD has decided to offer free shipping on thousands of items for the next week, here's the scenario. Lowes has the Steel City 10 inch Tablesaw listed @ $924 and Hd @ $996, you get a P/M plus 10% off from HD and have it shipped to your home free saving more time and money for around $832, Not a bad price for this saw delivered, granted not a Tommy or Toolguy deal, but for a new saw not bad either , http://www.homedepot.com/Tools-Hardw...&storeId=10051 , http://www.lowes.com/pd_230123-26463...3481537&rpp=16

$832 shipped for the cast iron version with cabinet mounted trunnions isn't a bad deal if they'd honor it. The fence is the weak link on that saw. The Griz G0715P is $894 shipped....better fence, enclosed cabinet, but has table mounted trunnions.
Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

Yeh,In saw that ,problem with the griz is ya just can't drive to it to return if ya don't like it,but I agree about the fence. This saw is basically the R4511 with a cast iron top, which is what I have with an aftermarket Delta fence on mine as the original fence is just not very good(Pretty sure its manufactured in the same plant in china as the Ridgids were). Good point about the griz tho, it does have a better fence ,but no cabinet mounted trunnions and they are basically a must nowadays for a high performance tablesaw excluding the venerable BT3. Inever realised HD carried so many WW tools , http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1...&storeId=10051
