I noticed the same a few days ago. Finally got around to posting, and you beat me to it

Wasn't sure how great some of the prices were, but here's what I picked up:

General Tools Pro Aluminum Dovetail Jig Kit - was $40, got it for $18
Diablo 25/64 in. Carbide Table Edge Router Bit - was $69.97, got it for $28
Diablo 3/4 in. Carbide Lock Miter Router Bit - was $79.97, got it for $19.03
Diablo 3/4 in. Carbide and Titanium Rounding-Over Bit - was $49.97, got it for $18
Diablo 1/2 in. x 2 in. Carbide Flush Trimming Router Bit - was $31.47, got it for $14

There were some others, but I stopped there. Any of these not worth keeping? I need to double check, but I think the only one of these I already have is the 3/4 roundover.

Oh, btw, these were in Cumming, GA, and there were at least 2 of everything left on 8/15/2012.

Why the 1st? I was under the impression that markdowns were more typically done on the month. ie 1mo from when the last markdown was, whatever day of the month that was.

They go 60-30-15and the correlation between the last sales digit goes from 99-97-03- then usually drops off their system to a NS item(non-stock) then it the mgrs discression as sometimes if no one purchas'es an item it will go to 1 cent and you might be able to get it for that but you need to be sly about it. Like going to self-serve and changing the language to spanish and then making multiple purchases of several items other than the 1 cent item and then pay quickly and with a credit card and scoot out the door in a hurry
