I needed a multi-tool for a flooring project at my daughters place, 6 hours from my shop with 2 Multi-tools. Checked Sears for prices and found a Nextec 12 volt Multi-tool with a drill, 1 battery and charger on sale for $50. I also bought an extra battery for &20. I was not expecting to be impressed but to my surprise I now consider it to be a worthwhile purchase. I totally destroyed 2 blades on the project and the batteries charge in 30 min. and do a lot of work before needing to be recharged. While the drill is a current model the Multi-tool is a discontinued model. Their new model has a tool-less blade change system and it's $80 without the drill.
