The latest Lowes flyer has the Rockwell Jawhorse on sale for $149. I believe that is the first time I have seen the Jawhorse on sale.

I've seen the Jawhorse on sale before, but not that low.
Menards recently clearanced another version of the same thing for about $80. It's nice, though the vise wouldn't hold it's grip- much like cheap quick clamps. Although still worth $80 IMHO, it definitely was a good trial before plunking down more for the real deal.
If you do a lot of projects, I can definitely see the Rockwell being worth the money. -
and elsewhere , http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/tls/2937925696.html , prolly being discontinued as a poor seller or at best overpriced tool in most markets.I'll wait till the price goes down further. Thanks for the HU tho.Comment

The Sears version was under $100 a few weeks ago, but didn't pull the trigger. The Dewalt (I think) and Ridgid models have been hovering around $100-120 lately as well.
When one hits $80, I might pull the trigger.Comment

There is a new version out too, called "Sheet Master" basically a redesign of the Jawhorse with the Plywood attachment in one unit.
Also check the accessories at Lowes. I picked up the miter station for the Jawhorse for $12. Look on slickdeals, I posted a thread on it, and there has since be several others with a store location in CO for the $12 price if your store does not have it marked as such.
Anyone know if the other versions, Triton, Sears, etc.. uses the same accessories? I still need the actual horse for my miter station.Comment

Is this product at Woodcraft for $99 similar? I haven't looked into these products but thought it looks similar to the OP's model.
