    2 Pack of 31" Clamps - $61.84
    2 Pack of 40" Clamps - $60.88

I shouldn't have, because I want to increase the toy bank, but I just ordered two sets of the 40". It was too good of a deal to pass up, thanks.

Thanks for the heads up. Very good prices. Only price I've seen better were the pair of 12" for $25 last year.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

          "$55.24 + $7.00 shipping
In Stock. Sold by Acme Tools"

It is from another seller at that price, then you have add shipping.

These are aluminum - is that an issue?

MGB, should not be an issue, they can clamp up to 1000 lbs which is what other brands can.

Do the Jets have knurled bars like Bessy? If so, the aluminum might not last like the steel ones, but I don't know if they do or not. I've got some Woodriver parallel clamps (made by bessy) that seem to have a lighter alloy bar. They show more signs of knurling wear than my Bessys.

What's amazing is that these prices are considered inexpensive. Why in the world do clamps cost so much.

Shipping date got moved up, I should be getting mine within a week.

Now my collection will look like the following when they show up:

                            (4) Jet 40"
                            (2) Irwin 24"
                            (3) HF adjustable aluminum bar clamps, 1 50" aluminum clamp
                            (4) HF F clamps
                            (2) Irwin quick clamps
                            (2) HF quick clamps

The 31" Jets are still on a decent sale. What should be my next play? As far as upcoming projects, I think I have enough for my cabinet builds but a cabinet workbench is coming up, plus a kitchen table and a custom door for a built-in bookshelf.
