    Brother label maker - $20

Not a tool deal, but a way to help you organize.

I'm designing part of a cabinet that will hold hardware organizers to store all my screws, knobs, nails etc. To be able to find something very easy, I need to label all of the containers.

This is about what you can find this label maker for fairly regularly, but it's still a decent deal. Sometimes you can get the power adapter included for about $5 more if you watch the deal sites.

It's nice enough to go on your office desk, light enough to cart out to the shop (or just leave it there). Lots of options for styles, too.

If you want the official adapter instead of using 6 AA batteries, that's here: http://www.amazon.com/Brother-AD24-P.../dp/B000L4CHJ2
I have a little blog about my shop

I have a hand held labeler like that and the biggest problem I've found is that the labels fade over time if the sun get's to them.
I have a couple of shelves full of repair and service manuals all of them in plastic covers to protect them. Unfortunately, all the labels I put on them have faded out.
