    2 years of popular woodworking for $15.96?

    I would say so. One year is advertized as $21.97 on their website. I paid $29 for a 2 year renewal not too long ago.

    I like their magazine. I've been getting it for several years now.

          they call it a "market research discount"........."in an effort to attract readers who fit various demographic profiles, popular woodworking magazine is pleased to offer you this special discounted rate". just checked the fine print: "plus $2.00 S&H". still a good deal @ $17.96?

            Do you subscribe to WOOD? Both WOOD and PW offer much of the same type of subject level and skill level projects. If you already subscribe to WOOD then I doubt if PW will teach you much that WOOD isn't already providing you.

              we all have vices, and mine are woodworking, woodworking tools, home improvement and reading about the three preceeding topics. at one time, i was subscribing to 7 or 8 periodicals. i think i'm down to 4 or 5 now. hey, as vices go, there are worse ones.
