Worksharp Leather Hone Kit $7.49 + shipping

Someone asked for the Worksharp Leather Hone Kits on SMC, so I told them about the Tyler Tools sale going on.

    Leather Hone $29.95

These might be good for those looking for just the plates too. Scrape off the leather to put on your sanding disc. 1/2 price of buying the glass disc.

You get 75% off with code "sale75" for a total of $7.49.

Shipping is like $4.95 but Tyler Tools also has free shipping on $99 and above.

This is applied to the total pre discount. So you can buy 4 and get 3 free with free shipping.

Or pad with these items that should still be in stock

That's not a bad price. The leather hone is one of the best things I like about the WS3000.

      75% off other stuff also?

Thanks so much for the great deal!

I put a $230 sander in the mix, it gave me the discount! If anybody needs anything, it might pay to try for it.

They do say that if the item isn't in stock, they will cancel the order, but I figured it was worth a shot!

They will cancel the backorder item. You'll still get the 75% off discount on the in stock item. Not sure what they will do about the shipping charge though.

Their Shopping Cart system is not very smart and allows you to order not in stock items.

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered the leather hone wheel, the wide blade sharpening system(back ordered), and a Freud SD208 Dado set. Even if I don't get the back ordered item I will still get the discount and free shipping.
I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.

Nothing I need there, but thanks a lot for posting the list of what you found.
I clicked on maybe 200 items, found none that were not backordered.

Not for nothin', but they really need to figure out a system to eliminate the stuff you cannot get, too frustrating!

Last week the $120 Sonicrafter kit was in stock (7 left). Not a bad unit for $48. I haven't checked this week though.

Awwwww... and here I was thinking I was going to get a rotary hammer drill, a DW735, and a Sonicrafter for $350... All before I noticed that it's ALL ON BACKORDER.

                    Epic Fail...

                      Tool order update

This morning I received a generated email informing me that the item I ordered was back ordered and my order was cancelled and no charges were made to my CC. Since I had ordered 3 items knowing one was back ordered I called to see if the other two would be shipped. No, the entire order was cancelled because all items were back ordered(although not listed).
I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.
