Scotch Duct Tape on Clearance at Target $2.17

I found some "Scotch Tough Duct Tape" at Target on clearance for $2.17, originally $8.68. Pretty good price for the most important tool in any shop.

I picked up a roll today...one left @ Lakeline/Austin store. In addition, on the same display bay, there were rolls of 3 mil poly sheeting, 10 x 25', for $1.93ea and really basic 9 x 12' plastic drop cloths for .53 . They also had a variety of wall-hanging apparati (or apparatuses, if you wish) on clearance. Couple of 5" metal 'french' cleats, small variety pak of picture frame attaching devices, etc, marked to 70% off or thereabouts. A few things in the felt, rubber bumper, table leg pads dept were marked way down, as well.

Happy hunting! My trip was to get the $21 Filtrete filter, marked down to $17.29, which became $14.29 after coupon and will be part of a $6 rebate offer.

Of course, this roll of Tough Duct Tape might last me a while. I have a giant roll of G0-rilla Duct Tape that seems to grow every time I use it!

I wish they'd first stock and then close out the Polyken carpet tape, it'll be until May for the next time I can snag a couple half-rolls at a convention center.

Another forum(SlickDeals) had a killer Target deal on GE CFLs on clearance AND a coupon but our closest Tar-jay had no bargains in that dept. The picture-hanging goodies looked like a display re-set, so it's likely just new packaging or assortments coming in. DW is an interior/re-designer, so we can never have too many hanger-uppers.
