$269 in Seattle. Said they couldn't match the picture because it was out of state (bronx, ny). Darn. Also the assistant store manager wouldn't take the 20% HF coupon. Double darn.Comment

Around here (Boston) the BS1400 has been slowly dropping in price ...
I checked last weekend, it was marked down to $319. Yesterday it was down $303 -- and I couldn't wait any longer, so with a 20% HF coupon I took it home with me

I picked up the drill press in north point Durham NC for the discounted price (actually less I think). Thanks for the heads up!
Last I checked (about a week ago) they still had one drill press left sitting on a clearance pallet.
