LPgas shop heaters $10 at sears

When I went to sears today to get my frued box joint blade I saw a clearance rack that had LP gas IR heaters for $10 They are the single ones that mount right to a standard 20lb bottle. Original price was $40.
They also had the torpedo style LP gas one normally $99 marked down to $20.
I had a 2 element one that I only use one side on, but it broke last year so this is perfect to warm my shop.

Sure thing, I forgot about that.
ProTemp radiant tank-top heater. Model # 14031 UPC is 657888050155
      Clearance price was $9.97

It says for outdoor use only on the box but I have used these in the shop. They do smell a little but my shop is not air tight. it is insulated though so it does a nice job.
Operates up to 48 hrs on low with a 20lb tank.

I've been to a couple of Sears and they don't seem to stock them. Has anyone else been able to find any?

No luck for me on the box joint blade. I doubt they'll have that one either.

I'm in the Boston area. What section are they in? I've looked around the tools and the area with the grills and yard tools and there weren't any. The last one I went to the guy told me something like that would need to be ordered. I've only seen the plug-in space heaters.

In the stores in this area (Pennsylvania), they are in the tools clearance section. Typically it is is a back corner of the tools department, but is marked as the clearance area.

It's possible local regulations prohibit use of this kind of device, or your local stores don't carry it for some other reason.

These things really are designed for outdoor use only. That doesn't keep me from using it in my shop on really cold days, but after ~20 minutes my eyes start stinging and it gets a little harder to breathe. Fortunately 20 minutes is plenty of time to get the shop nice and toasty.
