    Performax Accessory Set at Menards

Menards is selling a 50 piece accessory kit for their multi-function tool for $19.99. Even at its regular $40 price it is not a bad deal. It looks like it might work with the Harbor Freight Multi-tool also. It contains:

    (3) 3 1/2" semi-circle saw blades
    (4) 1-1/4" plunge blades
    (1) Hook and loop finger sanding pad
    (9) 80 grit finger sanding pads
    (9) 120 grit finger sanding pads
    (9) 80 grit sanding pads
    (9) 120 grit sanding pads
    (1) Triangular carbide grity rasp
    (1) 2-1/2" grout removal blade
    (1) 2" rigid scraper
    (1) 1-3/16" flexible scraper
    (1) 2-1/2" diamond blade
    (1) Hex key

They also have the Performax cordless multi-function tool for @29.99 after $30 rebate. It uses a 12 volt Lithium ion battery with a 30 minute charger. Included are 15 accessories.

That sounds like a good deal. I wonder if they're any good.

We have both the HF and Menards multi-tools. The blades are NOT interchangeable. The hole patterns are slightly different.

I have a HF tool with and one without the pins. Either way, I've had mo problems using other blades, even if the pins don't align.

I picked up the pack. The diamond and standard pluge blades alone are worth it.
