    Freud LU87R010 thin-kerf rip - $36.10 at Amazon

I may be wrong, but this looks like a decent price to me ... $36.10 for the Freud thin-kerf ripping blade (10"), with free shipping.

    LINK

(They also have some other Freud blades at about 40% discount.)

It looks like a good price to me. I have that blade and am quite happy with it.

A Google search on that blade turns up a lot of places selling it for $39.99 so that's a pretty good deal. On the other hand, whenever I see Amazon advertising anything for something like 40% off I have to ask the question 40% off of what? Usually it's 40% or whatever % off of a MSRP that nobody sells the product for in the first place.

Amazon does have "interesting" pricing, not to mention they adjust their pricing based on demand too. I've been double checking Amazon deals on camel camel camel.com (not sure if I can link that here, so I'll leave it as that), which tracks historically the prices Amazon, Used and 3rd Party have charged for the item.

Last few days, I've been seeing historical lows on a few items. Like the Makita compressors and Hitachi Nailers.

"Interesting" doesn't begin to describe it ...

I read a couple of reviews of the blade and decided to get one -- still listed as $36.10, but when I go to check out it itemizes it as follows:

          Subtotal of Items: $36.13
          Shipping & Handling: $5.96
          Super Saver Discount: -$5.96
          Promotion Applied: -$5.42
          ------
          Total: $30.71

If the deal on the rip blade isn't what your looking for try this one on
the 60 tooth cross cut blade. My click on show the item in cart said
$46.17 and free shipping with super saver a 39% savings.

Or if that don't float your boat try the 50 tooth combo blade at $44.42
at 40% off their regular price.

$31 shipped is a nice deal on that blade. We haven't seen any real Freud deals from Amazon in a long time.

Thanks for letting us know about the deal inside the deal! At $36 I wasn't moved, but for $31 the credit card came flying out!

I think the 15% off Freud blades promotion ended yesterday. Showing up regular price ($36.18) in my cart and at checkout.

I did notice there was a "Special Offers" promo under the price for the Freud blades I looked at over the weekend and when you scrolled down a little to the Special Offers text it mentioned the 15% off Friday through Sunday deal.
