    I get this:

The tool you identified has no need for the adapter, but we are able to still provide you with a Bosch OSC312F blade. The blade will be shipped to you in the coming weeks.

OK - you need to pick another make other than BOSCH

      Thanks Tommy,

      This is the message I got;

"Thank you for registering for the free OIS adapter and blade offer found in Remodeling and JLC, Woodshop News and Popular Woodworking magazines. You will be receiving an adapter and Bosch OSC312F blade in the coming weeks."

Kinda looks like it adapts that funky Bosch circle/plus sign mount to the standard ring of holes mount.

Does it have any benefit if you don't own a Bosch??

You would be able to use Bosch blades?
I know they make the best jigsaw blades.
I haven't yet worn out any of my HF blades though. Not sure how much better Bosch blades would be.

This explains the use and need for the adapter quite well:

Why do I get that it's an invalid code?

When you enter the code are you entering a zero instead of the letter "O" at the very beginning? Same thing at the end except it should be the number "0" there and not the letter "O".

I tried numerous times switching the 1 for an i, etc., and it finally accepted it. Don't know why? But it worked after awhile. Keep trying.

                        Great Pumpkin Tool

                        Thanks for the link!
I copy+pasted the code into the box and it worked first time.

Yes, I carved faces into about 20 pumpkins with the Dremel multi-max and the standard straight wood blade in October. Works really slick on straight cuts and for chiseling out details. For curved precise cuts though I used a hand-held jig saw with a narrow blade.

I had a lot of fun, and it was way safer than using the old steak-knife method.

It will be awhile before I want to smell pumpkin juice though.

                          Invalid code

You get the invalid code because when you copied and pasted it, it included a blank space at the end. At least that was the deal for me.

Got mine last night. Got the adapter and a blade. Looks like I don't need the adapter, but will hold onto it anyway. If the Bosch blades last longer than the HF model, and are priced about the same, I'll start using the Bosch instead. I seem to go through the HF blades very quickly.
