Possible Planer Deal

Lowes has lowered the price of their DeWalt 734 Planer to $349. I,m figuring either get the 10% off at H.D. since they sell the same planer,or find a H.D thats near a H.F. and accepts their coupon then get them to do a p/m with Lowes and accept the H.F 20% off coupon. Just a scenario that might play-out for some here. As I said its just a thought.Did ya,ll understand all that?

Amazon has the same $349 price delivered to your front door. They won't however give you an extra 10% off of the Lowes price.

That could very well be the deal for some to avoid a lenghty drive considering the current price of gas,but I,m gonna shoot for the 20% off deal and see if it will fly.

Tommyt, don't forget many states Amazon doesn't charge tax, so depending on where you live that can be a factor too. Good hunting.

Good price, but not sure if the 734 is better than the R4330.

My poor wife isn't even aware of her real nightmare. Someone on the local Craigslist has a MiniMax 35 with the slot mortiser attachment listed for $250. I'm assuming there's a missing zero, but if not...
