I noticed a lot of looks at this, So I called about it to ask a few things. If you note in the photo on the lower right he has removed the granite extension and replaced it with a steel one and also has a nice lookin miter/sled I guess you would call it with a piece of boxed alum. attached to a couple of miter square guides. I called Jon this morning to inquire if it was sold yet and as of now No, but someone is coming to see it today was his reply. I have this saw and asked about the machined extra table and it turns out he is in fact a machinist and that top is adapted from an old craftsman tabletop that he machined a hole in and then machined some 1/2 inch aluminum plate to fit inside to mount the Ridgid Router too. It looks to be a nice setup and I,m inquiring as to how much to make another and he,s gettin back to me on it. I would think if he can do it for this saw he can do it for others as well. Unfortunatly its limited to Ga. for now, but if I go that route and the work turns out nice enough I,ll be sure to see if he,s interested in doing others as the reason for sellin his saw is a lack of work right now. So he,s interested in doing some more, just has to put a figure to it. Whew anyways thought I,d pass that info on,Tommy

That cast iron router extension is intresting. I wonder if he could machine it to accept a common sized lift plate?ErikComment
