    Is this a good deal?

Not sure if this is the right forum but I figured it could be a bargain! Woodcraft has a package of their parallel clamp on sale for $100 with free shipping this weekend.
Just wondering if any body has used their clamps and what is your opinion of them? Is this a bargain?

That looks like a pretty good deal.

I have a few of the woodriver clamps, 4x 12"s, 2x 40"s. They're made by bessey, but the specs aren't as good as their old K-bodies or the new revos. The handles are plastic. They are easier to grip then the plain wood handles of the older bessey K-bodies, but not as good as the new revo handles.

I'm starting to have problems with 2 or 3 of my 12" clamps. They won't tighten anymore. There is a threaded stud in the clamping mechanism that goes against the bars. Mine are stripping out. I have turned them with an allen wrench, but they continue to strip. I'm running out of good sides on the studs. Someday I will get around to replacing the studs if I can. It can certainly be aggravating when doing a glueup and the clamp you just put on won't tighten. I don't think I've used excessive force when tightening. I believe the studs aren't very good metal.

I've been tempted again on pricing like this, but I would rather put my money into the Bessey revos.
