30% off on Sears appliances (maybe Texas only)

We were out today looking at dishwashers. Most were on sale thru today. We asked the salesperson what the price would be when the rebate program starts, which is tomorrow.

According to him, the prices will be 30% off regular price for all Energy Star appliances, even if you didn't get thru for the rebate.

I don't know if this will be local, state-wide, or country-wide. 30% off made the prices bettern than any sale prices they had on the floor at the time.
