          Got an e-mail from Grizzly this morning and saw the clearance price. Even at $719 shipped that is an absolute steal IMO for anyone in need of an 8" jointer. It's almost idenical to my Steel City 8" with the exception the knives on the SC are reversible and there is are index pins on the cutter-head the blades fit over to eliminate using a jig when replacing and... the fence is a little shorter and not as tall as the granite fence on the SC I have.

          I can testify it is a good jointer with already over 40,000 linear feet run across it without a burp. I much prefer the hand-wheels over the levers for micro-adjust.
