    Jet 14" Canister Filter

There is a seller on ebay (eqss1) that has been offering some DC-CS filters for the low HP Jets on a regular basis. Stock number 708737.

I won mine for $95 shipped. I couldn't find any retailers online under $250. The last few auctions range from $69 to $103. Very good seller on my auction, pretty quick and very reasonable shipping ($8.95).

My Jet 650 now has been upgraded with a 2 Micron canister ditching the tall felt bag. I still need to get some clear bags from PannState. This is the complete filter kit with the flapper system & mounting ring. Mine came complete in the sealed factory box. The filter sports the Dust Dog logo instead of the Jet logo that's in his listings. Took me about 5 minutes to install.

It's probably a little more work to install but I think these guys have a better deal:

            http://www.wynnenv.com/35A_series_cartridge_kit.htm

$106 for a 0.5 micron cartridge. I have one on my Delta DC and it works great. They also sell heavy plastic bags. I think you are going to have a bunch of fine dust, the least healthy kind, with a 2 micron cartridge.

The 2 micron will certainly be better than the OEM 30 micron felt bags. I considered the Wynn, but I really didn't want to mess with fabrication, and I liked the flapper. For me, the upgrade wasn't so much for the fines, but more for performance. Most all my cutting gets done outside my shop/shed. The wind takes care of the really little stuff.

Will any of these cartridges fit the HF 2 HP DC?

Rager, the Wynn 35A fits the HF 2 HP DC. The link above shows a HF DC with the 35A filter installed. I just got mine today, works great.
