That is a great price. Our local Lowes doesn't show them online. The few times I've looked at HD, they were out. The guy that hung our verticals had them and they were cool. Much better than the unfold-n-go types.

Grab 'em... I wouldn't trade mine for anything (except tequila). Very sturdy and versatile.

You might be able to get them for even less. I bought a pair on 2/18/10 for $39.98 + tax. I can scan a receipt if anyone needs it.

I'll never buy anyting Stanley again. Any company with the gall to trademark "FUBAR" is truly despicable.

                  Is this the problem?

FUBAR is an acronym that commonly means "f***ed up beyond all repair," "f***ed up beyond all recognition," or any of a number of similar constructions

From what I have noticed, if it's on clearance, it won't show up in inventory because they have already taken it out of the inventory system. If it shows up it probably isn't on clearance at the particular store you checked. Try & change store locations to see if there is a change. If it doesn't show up. call them. It's probably still in stock, just not in inventory as a restockable item.

                      Hope that makes sense.

Is it just me or does this still seem to be a bargain at $70 for the twin pack? Everyone else wants $60+ for one.

My local HD sells them individually for $35 each.
