    1/2 price Bostitch nailer & compressor @ $99

Got this in an e-mail. I've bought recon tools from them and get notices. This seems like a great deal at a Harbor Freight price.

Good deal, wish I needed one:-)
You don't need a parachute to skydive, you only need a parachute to skydive twice.

The oilless compressors tend to be noisier than the oil lubed ones.

prisbylla's correct, and the PC pancake compressors that a lot of stores sell are noisy even compared to other oiless compressors! Seriously, it's rediculous how loud that thing is....

Have this compressor, the 1 1/4 18GA BN, Stapler, and 2 1/2" 16 GA that I got as a kit back in the Live.com moneyback bonanza last year. It's LOUD.

Other than that, these are perfectly servicable tools.

I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.
