I just got the dw735 for $271 out the door. (10% lowes)

Here is a list of what appears to be left at the ozone park ny hd, in case anyone is in the hood and looking. This is floor stock, may be more in the rafters:

1 granite top table saw $299 (can't believe they still have this!)
2 dw 735 planers $279
1 ridgid jointer $199
3 ryobi 13 inch planer $199 (is that a bargain??)
8 dw jigsaw & 1/4 sheet sander $99


If I had the room, the planer and the table saw would not be on this list, believe me!

Here in the Twin Cities those jointers have been out of the stores for a while. Just in case I checked today (need a jointer, just bought some of that $3/bf cherry at Rockler), none in stock in any of the Minnesota stores. :-(

North NJ priced at $301. I picked one up last week. I am hoping the price comes down to $199. They still have one left at the Dover, NJ HD

Herb - thank you for the heads up. Nassau and Suffolk had none. Ozone Park is now sold out so I ended up at the Jamiaca store for the DW 735 for $279 and the Ridgid Jointer for $199. Great deal- thanks again.

fall 1998, could you post a receipt for the jointer... In NJ they still have them at $301. Maybe they'll price match a tri-state store.
