    Craftsman 2 gallon shop vac

Currently on sale for $19.99 from $29.99 at Sears. Thought it was a pretty good deal.

It's a great little vac, we keep one under the kitchen table plugged in to vac up all the food that winds up on the floor from our 2 3/4 year old and 10 month old. My wife was annoyed at me when I first mentioned the idea, but now it really comes in handy.

It's a shame that it doesnt' look like you can use standard shop vac canister filters. I hate those fabric filters.

I picked up one of those a couple of years ago when they were selling them for $15.99. Wish I had gotten 2.

That vac looks very similar to one I got at HD several years ago, called a Stinger. Works great. I think I paid something like $29.95.

Well they are cheaper than a canister. You can also clean them out perhaps once or twice if your careful and get a lot more use out of them. I clean the pleated canister types once with a brush and an air compressor after that it's a lost cause because the pores are just too clogged.

I saw today online that HD is selling a Husky model that looks like a clone for the same $19.99 price.

We've been using the Husky for quick cleanups for about a year now and it works great for that. I paid about $30 when I bought it.
