    Sawzilla free to good home.....

Anyone live in the San Bernardino area of Southern California interested in Sawzilla?

My BT3000 died a few years ago and I tossed most of it and auctioned the rest.

I now have the custom base that I built and featured here several years ago.

So, if anyone has a BT3000 and would like to use it with the base please contact me.

I would hate to break it up into scrap if someone could use it.

It has lots of hardware; Drawer slides, handles, electrical connections, and dust collection piping.

S0 if your interested Email me at Wkenddad@pacbell.net.

First one that shows up with a truck takes it.

This is what it looked like in its glory days! .................................................. ..And then now....

If he still has it on the 2 of Jan. I am making a mad dash down It to get it. I have already contacted Ray. If some on local doesn't grab it, I can have it. Leave here a 6am be ther about noon or so, load up with my son's help drive to his place in Ridgecrest stay over night and he and I will head back to Sac in time for the afternoon and evening games. Son lives in Boise but had to take job at China Lake Navel Weapons Center and lives in a flat with no TV, has internet but want to watch BSU in the Fiesta Bowl on the 4th. He is going home for Christmas but will be back in Sacto for New Years so he can help to load it.

Thanks to all of you that have shown interest in Sawilla.

Today it went to a good home at a fellow members house.
He actually live only a few miles from my house, maybe I can visit every now and again.

As to a write up, I never did one.
But, I did supply a set of plans, with alternate versions.
The plans can be found at my webpage, the link is below.

If you have any problems or questions, let me know.

Sorry but Rich L picked it up today.
The money you would have spent in gas you can probably build one of your own.
I have the plans on my website - link below.

My only suugetion is to build out of a light ply rather than MDF.
MDF is nice and easy to work, but heavier than Opra at a chocolate factory.

Also the brace/supports for the tops should be solid stock, the ones on Sawzilla began to fail.

You need a .dwg viewer... (".dwg" is a proprietary format generated by AutoCad software). Free viewers are plentiful, if you Google "free .dwg viewer", but the real deal is available from Autodesk themselves. It's called DWG TrueView.

                  Hi all,

I've been out of the internet loop for a while.

Just want to shout out a hearty thank you to WeekEndDad for giving me Sawzilla. It is indeed a very cool creation!

Glad you got it. I was preparing to drive down and get it. I found out I would have had to rent a trailer to haul it as it wouldn't fit through the rear opening in LOML's Expedition and didn't what to haul it in my pickup for weather reasons. Had I gone ahead and went down it would have cost close to $350 with closed trailer rental and gas and a motel. So you getting save me the hassle of making a decision on whether to go or not. It's better this way I have the plans to build it if I want.
