    Rockler Black Friday Deals

I saw the following link in my inbox this morning. If my wife wasn't making me camp out in front of WalMart Friday morning I'd be all over some of these deals...

I sure hope it's for a large screen TV! I can't think of anything else there that warrants getting up early for. Personally I would rent-a-bum for the Wall-mart line and go to Rockler's.

Bill, who may be at Home Depot....

Thanks for posting that. I do remember on another forum reading that this stuff would be good all week and isn't just "door busters". So you shouldn't have to pull any sort of 4am move for Rockler. But I would call your local store to double check on that.

I just wish this stuff was online as well as in-store. It's 90 miles to rockler from my house.

The Jet DC looks like a good buy.

No, it's not for a big TV, but I've got 2 of those already... she's making me go there for some ridiculous battery-powered car for my 3 year old daughter. Even though it will take up about the same footprint as a unisaw and cost nearly as much as that miter gauge in the ad (which also doesn't take up NEARLY as much space) I think it will be worth it on Christmas morning. When I was growing up, I had one of those things on my list to Santa every year and he never failed to disappoint; I don't think I could put her through a repeat of that aspect of my childhood!

Ah, well if it's a gift for your daughter then fighting the crowd of crazies at wally world is well worth it. Hope there is one left for you.
