Last I saw it was at $99 at our local lowes. Did you have to ask the price down or was it marked at that? I have to go there today anyway and I will get that saw if it is that price.
    thanks,

      thanks,
No it was already marked down. The first Lowes I went to only had a display model but was also marked down to $66.

Nothing in the Naperville, IL store. Don't think they stock that item.

I guess I'm more of a computer geek that a tool geek -- I looked at the subject and immediately started wondering why issue #423 of PC Magazine was so darn valuable...

Great deal on that -- have to check that one out.

I just picked one up for $33.99
It was the display model and marked at $66.00
The washer and nut to hold on the blade was missing and the tool guy said he was sure they did not have one in the back. He called PC and they said that they would send one to the store for it. (it is the tool-less type)
I didn't even ask for it to be reduced further b/c there was no bag or blade, but when they rang it up it came to $33.99 cashier just said how do you like that price. I decided for that price I would get the extra 1yr war for $10 just in case something was messed up as a shelf model.
