My local HD does not stock this saw - they have a lower model on clearance for the same price, but regular price was $189. Homedepot.com says this is "online only", so I am assuming it will not be available in any of the stores.

Keep in mind, too, that hd.com returns cannot be returned to the store - they have to be shipped back. For a heavy item like this, the cost could be significant if it had to be returned.

By all accounts this is supposed to be a decent saw and I intended to buy it until a tile-installer buddy of mine pointed out that he had done tens of thousands of sq ft using the $80 "workforce" saw. So I bought that. And he was right, it worked just fine. Particularly for the fairly small 250 sq ft we were doing.
