Apparently I'm a double knucklehead because I pasted the wrong reply here. Good times.
Anyway, I was trying to say:
Just saw the flyer in my local paper. Pretty good deal if you are looking to buy a pile of stuff. Not as good as the Ridgid/Ryobi rebates from last month it the higher $ numbers. But then again, this deal doesn't require jumping through the rebate hoops and gives you more of a choice in brands and tools.
I'd be buying more if Ridgid hadn't gotten all my money last month.
They also have a 9-gallon wet/dry vac for $20 (item #620749) in my local ad today (GA). It looks like it applies to this instant rebate, if you need a $20 filler to get to $150/$300/$600.
I tried the rebate today but it did not work with the things I bought.

ridgid 9gal vac
dewalt, Milwaukee and ryobi bit sets.
the cashier said that all my things were included but for some reason the computer would not accept the coupon.
I didn't have the time to waste so I put the bit sets back.

I'd try finding those items online and seeing if the discount works there. If it does, I'd try again at the store when you've got a few minutes.
The big thing to look for during this sale is combining the HD discount with a manufacturer mail in rebate.
A gem during the last sale was the 4 piece Milkwaukke 18v Li-ION on sale for $349 (reg $499). It came down to $275 with the discount and had a free tool via mail in rebate . I got the hammer drill for free, which retails for $299 (with batteries). Some people found sets with a free impact in the box, too.
Any good deals on circular saws? My basic Skil is finally giving up on me. I'm in the middle of a large deck extension right now.
I was thinking about this Rigid worm drive saw, as it was $150 last time I checked in my local store, so it would be about $125 on this deal. They had a mail in rebate on it, but it just expired. However, it's quite heavy.
Any recommendations? I would prefer a left blade saw (I think - never used one, though).

The wet/dry vacs do not qualify. Bits should, as they are power tool accessories, but who knows what their computers think.
FWIW, the Ryobi drill bit set (~$20) worked as a filler. You can get an idea of what is eligible by clicking on the HD Ultimate Power Deal link on the main page, and then click on Step 1 (Shop Now). You should get around 1,400 items or so which are eligible. Sort through if you want some fillers. The items are marked "rebate available". Hope this helps.
