    Ryobi 8" RAS Toledo CL

Not mine. I don't know anything about them, other than hearing they were recalled or something. Are these usually sought after? This is the first one I've seen.

I bought mine when they first appeared on the market. One of the best Ryobi tools I've ever owned(other than my BT3100 of course). I used mine for years without any problems, then along comes an ad in Fine Woodworking advising those who owned them to stop using them, contact Ryobi and receive a $75 check after the power head is received. I reluctantly sent mine in,got the check and have always regretted doing so as this was one heck of a good RAS for what I needed it to do. Harbor Freight used to sell either a refurb or a clone of this saw for about $225 or so. It was listed in their tool catalog but don't know if it is avail on the internet.

I've seen two in the last month on the local CL. Both wanted less then the recall paid (considered making money). That said, I wonder how much longer you will see that class of tool, since several brands have recalls, and the new sales regulations of recalled products.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.
