Ryobi and Ridgid Limited Time Friends and Family Discount

I posted earlier late on Monday, as a result of a conversation I had with my contact in Ryobi Marketing.

The current PDF on the Ryobi site covers just Ryobi tools. BUT, I was also told that the change was made (from the original Ryobi and Ridgid form) because TTI's Ridgid products team wanted to do their own thing... separate from TTI's Ryobi products team (remember, Ridgid and Ryobi are both manufactured by TTI).

So, Ridgid is supposed to come out with thier own rebate "within a few days" (quoting from my contact).

I hope that clarifies any questions.

As Aggrex posted, the Ridgid rebate has been e-mailed and though I haven't seen it on the Ridgid website yet, I'm sure it will be posted there soon.

One thing to note, the mailing shows three offers with a link on each. One is the "Friends and Family" (the more you spend the more you save) and the other two offerings are for specific Ridgid cordless tools and combo's.

I mention this only because on first glance, I thought the rebate was for only the tools pictured... not true, as there are three specific offers.

CWS I got the Ridgid-ONLY promotion today.

Corporate world at its best. Had they left the original promo alone, they would have saved administrative costs, and probably appealed to more shoppers that may have preferred to chose between Ridgid/Ryobi in the store after making some hands-on comparisons. Now some people will know about the Ryobi promo and not the Ridgid, and vice versa.
