    Ridgid inspection camera

Stopped at the Home Depot in Fishers Indiana yesterday looking for the SeeSnake micro. They had it marked down from $199 to $149. Included was an extra 3' extension. I gave them the 20% off Harbor Freight coupon and got it for slightly less than $120. So far, it looks like it will be a valuable tool for plumbing and electrical work.

Good deal but here they will not take the HFT coupon unless it is for a product they carry too.

Yup, that HF coupon match at HD is a definite YMMV. None of the HD's around here will even entertain the thought any more. Once in a while at Lowes, though (depending on the manager on duty).

Once saw a guy waving his HF advertisement for 20% off at the register, where he was arguing with a manager who kept insisting that HD matches competitor's coupons, but HF is not a competitor, therefore it does not apply.

It seems that when HD says 'competitor', it means Lowes.

If there is such a thing as a handyman lawyer could there be a class action suit some day over such a restrictive interpretation of 'competitor'?

I was able to use a HF 15% off coupon when purchasing my TS2400 table saw at HD. I think it was a combination of asking very nicely, it being a slow day, and the manager being in a good mood. My experience is it is a huge YMMV as noted above.

These are now down to $99. See if you can find another one and buy it and return with your old receipt.

f you don't have a coupon that you can use, Lowes has several products that have $10 off $50 coupons packaged with them. One is a package of 16 AA batteries for $8.87, I think, so for $97.87 you can get the batteries and the SeeSnake. They also have some CF lightbulbs, drill bit sets and some gatorade, I think with $10 off $50 coupons in the package.

Saw this locally in San Diego Craigslist. Is this a good price? I can't find it locally.

I found one in a local store last week for $99 clearance. They've been at $149 for a few weeks around here (SoCal) though few stores have any left.

Mine only came with one 3 foot flex-shaft for the camera - no extra extension. That'd be handy to have...
