Tampa CL - Lightly used General table saw

This guy has the General contractors saw that's currently going new for about $1075. He says "make offer" and I made one that's at the upper end of my current tool fund, but it's too low. He says he couldn't take less than $450 for it.

It's had light use, and he says it works great. It's about an hour from me, so I didn't go see it since I couldn't afford his amount. But if you have the money, this might be a good way to get a great saw cheap.

I notice you haven't gotten a reply.. The General is known for solid construction of their machines but... with that said I would hold off with the economy in the shape it's in. I have seen 3 cabinet saws go for well under what they were bring used 6 months ago recently by those losing their jobs or fore-closure.

From $500-$600 when the used price not that long ago was $800-$900. Just a thought as patience is a virtue..
