Stanley Parallel clamps $10 - Big Lots

I just picked up 2 x 18" and 2 x 24" of these at big lots for $10 each. YMMV

Swell, I did not need to know about this right now....

Going to have to check the stores after work.

I actually went in for some more of the Columbina yellow handled speed clamps I picked up 4 12" and 4 24" a while back and the 12" are perfect for clamping to my beam bench.

Unfortunaley they dont seem to have any more but lucked into these parallel clamps. I already have 4 40" and 4 50" besseys but no short ones so these are a great addition.

I've got a couple pair of the Columbia's they're 40 or 42. They flex a bit at that length, quick to use though.

I like the other stanley bar clamps, I haven't seen the parallel ones yet. Those other ones are pretty heavy. Just a couple days ago I was wishing I had some more of the 6" ones.

Yup - regular bar clamps arent that great longer than around 24" IMHO. I have a few 36" ones but they rarely get used (due to flex issues) unless I have nothing else. Pipe, sq section aluminum or parallel clamps are best once you get longer.

Didn't see any parallel clamps at my local store, they only had a couple Columbia 40's.

I swept the Fort Worth stores clean late last year. Suppose they could be re-stocking, though.

Not the three I went to, not a parallel clamp to be seen. I couldn't go away empty handed so I grabbed 4 12" Stanley fatMax extremes and a Stanley 3/4" pipe clamp. They also had Norton 1/4 sheet sanding paper packs (5 sheet) for $1, grabbed a mess of them too.

I may have just got lucky with a store that still had some. I think I left approx 4 on the shelf, you could always drive over here and pick them up but that may make any cost savings rather moot

I haven't seen any Stanley parallel clamps in our Big Lots in several months, and even then they were pretty well picked over. I had two 24" to start with, then found 2 more for $10 at BL...nice clamp and a steal @ $10.

I tried to go, only to find the Big Lot's around me, have all closed. Most of the time if you didn't catch the bargains the day they came in (especially clamps) they were gone. I guess I don't have to worry about them anymore.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.
