Varathane Stain $2.75 Gal at Lowes

I have not verified this yet but a post at Slickdeals.net says they have found certain colors of Varathane stains for $2.75 a gal. at Lowes in N.Atl. I should be able to verify by tomorrow morning.

It is true. I have seen this at several Lowe's stores throughout the midwest. I also saw a Hitachi 10.8 volt lithium impact driver for $69 instead of $149 list. They have many things on clearance, but the items on the little clearance tables they set up are usually on clearance for good reason. You have to walk up and down the aisles for the good items.

O.K., I verified the Varathane,whoa thats a tongue twister, They have vaious stains,too many to list but some nice colors, Colonial Maple,Dark Walnut and some others each store will vary. I think I got really lucky and found a gal of clear for the same price but only 1 so may have been mismarked. Good stuff if you need some stain and the price ain,t bad either.
