    Ladder Stabilizer $29 at HD

Just noticed that HD has reduced the price on the removable ladder stabilizers from $47 (?) to $29.

    Lowes may be less

FWIW, I bought a Werner ladder stabilizer at Lowes last night for $12.50, and a pair of the ladder steps for $17.50 each (regular price around $50 for each).

    Oh, and I used a 10 off 50 coupon

      Two questions:

      1 - What's a ladder step?
2 - Where do you get the 10 off 50 coupon?

      Thanks-
      Mike

The ladder step is like a shelf that hangs on the ladder rung, can be used as a step or platform, and supports 300 lbs.

The coupons were available on the website but have expired now.

I was in HD a couple of weeks ago & they had ladder jacks on clearance for $18 a pair. These things usually go for $50 to $100 a piece. I bought 4 sets.

What style of ladder was the stabilizer for?
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

The stabilizers fit essentially any extension ladder.

There is the type I got, which has u-bolts to attach to the ladder. A second type clips on, and is more expensive - that may be what the OP bought.

This is the clip on type. I bought one a couple of years ago for the regular price of around $30.00. HD clearance sticker says the regular price has been $47 and is now $29. (Inflation?) In any case, it takes me about 3 minutes to get it out of the box, put it together and attach it to the ladder and about the same to reverse the process and put it away. Therefore, the ladder is easier to store and the stabilizer box does not take up a great deal of room.
