I would, but I don't have anything large enough to pickup the equipment. LOL!

Interesting thought, but I think maybe no more than 2 of these beasts could be squeezed into my tiny shop and then I couldnt move around at all. A shame he is only interested in serious inquiries.

Not to mention that as far as I can see from whats actually for sale that the collection is way overpriced at $48,000!!

Some of the larger items would fetch only $1000-1500 each in todays market. maybe $15K for the lot and he may find a buyer.

I can't help but think some guy retired and set up his dream shop and then never got to use it. Hope that's not the case.

No jointer and no planer? It'd be interesting to know which ones he had and why they're not listed.

What on earth would he be building with a 14" table saw anyway? Furniture for Bigfoot?

                Pretty pricey but nice stuff.

The bandsaw starts at about $17k new (and all his stuff looks pretty new) and goes to $20k depending on whether it is deluxe and what motor he has.

The radial arm saw fetches about $13k new.

The rest of the stuff isn't cheap, either. But I still think it is hard to get to $48k for used gear. I'm not up on PowerMatic stuff, but I think you could buy everything in that shop brand-new for $48k, in today's economy.

I'd offer him $24k, but I'd be afraid he's accept.

You are right about that BS but very few people need one quite that BIG!

I'd take the whole mess, but I'm afraid the shipping to PA would be more than $20 or $30!!!
