Looking at the barcode, it looks like it's the coupon code (41839184 in this case), then a dash, then the CustomerID from when you signed up on the HF website to receive the emails. This link appears to have modified the CustomerID to be a string of 99999... My guess is that it's just for tracking who is using the coupons, they don't seem to have the infrastructure to actually check if a coupon is being used twice at their stores.

Could be HF has thought about having some kind of discount club cards like the Craftsman Club and then checking to see if your coupon matched your card. I dunno, a guy could feel pretty proud carrying a Harbor Freight Club card

Seriously, tho, have you folks had any experiences using the 20% off coupons combined with the coupons for individual items from emails or the in-store ads? The fine print says they can't be used together but I wonder if the clerks ignore that.

There already is a Harbor Freight discount card, and has been for years.

The coupon also states that is is good on sale prices. I have had no problems using these with coupons at the same time. But obviously it depends on the store.

Thanks for the info about stacking the sale price + coupon. Unfortunately, our local stores are out of the items I'm interested in and have been for a while ($9 cargo bar/work support, $14 palm nailer, Multimaster knockoff). Their employees tell me that their warehouse is empty and even some of the factories in China have closed down. They did have quite a few of the 28deg nailers for the $60 coupon, not sure if they're worth even $60-20% tho.

I use to be a member of ITC years ago.
A lot of good deals and limit supply items
would be available only to members.
