    PC 4210 Dovetail Jig $83 at Lowes

    I was at the Pasco, WA Lowes today and spotted the PC 4210 dovetail jig on clearance for $83.. Add on the current $20 rebate and it'll be $63 plus tax

    Rebate form

    Pick up a 690LR and it'll be a $40 rebate
    http://www.bt3central.com/showthread.php?t=43234

    That would be the Jig and router for $143+ some tax after rebate

    They also had a spot for a Delta 14" Band Saw marked down to $260 from $399 but they were sold out.

      I recently bought this jig and it was so easy to learn and use, especially if you have not done any dovetails before. You can only do Half-Blind and Sliding dovetail for this jig, if you want to do box joints and thru dovetail you must get the 4212.

      But Lowe's deal on this jig is a very good deal.

          I'll second that. I had the tool guy at my store check to see if it was a closeout and he said no. If anybody gets one of these at the discounted price before the end of the month... I'd really appreciate it if you could post a receipt. Thanks

            So for further clarification please, is the 4210 essentially the same as the 4212, except that it is missing some additional parts (templates, etc.), or are there other fundamental "non-upgradeable" differences?

              I think all of the 42XX series jigs are the same...it's the templates included that change. The various templates are available separately.

                The 4210 will not do through DT's. The 4212 does. BTW, Where are are you getting this extra $20 rebate? Thanks

                    Porter-Cable have a Mail-In-rebate for $20 when you purchased any of the 4200 Series Dovetail jigs, you get $40 if you also buy the 690 router. The Rebate form is available here;
