Wixey Digital Angle Readout at WC $27.99

Just noticed that Woodcraft has put their Wixey Digital Angle Gauge on sale for $27.99. If I read correctly they are offering Free Shipping for online orders. Here is the link (if I can make this work). You may have to copy and paste.

    Back to $39.99.
You don't need a parachute to skydive, you only need a parachute to skydive twice.

As mentioned above, you can no longer get it for $27.99 at WC. However, you can get it from Rockler for $29.99 with free shipping by using code V9723 at checkout. The free shipping offer is good through 12-21-08.

If you don't already have one of these, it's the handiest thing to come along since the pencil...easier to find too!

It still shows $27.99 on the WC home page under Hot Deals, but full price on the item page. Bet if you emailed or called them you'd still get the $27.99 price....

I have one of the Wixey's and couldn't be happier so this isn't meant to be a slam. However, a word of warning about the battery life. The Wixey has a continuous draw on the battery even when the unit is turned off. If you leave the battery in the Wixey between uses it will eventually go dead even without use. The battery that came with mine lasted about 5-6 months before it died. It's easy enough to remove the battery after each use but if you choose not to, keep an extra battery or two around just in case.

I just clicked on the link, added one to the cart, and it shows 27.99. Must have been a temporary glitch. Shows the price is good til 12/31/08. I wonder if the stores have the same price? I still have my 10.00 voucher. Jim.
