    Ryobi Tools at HD

I hope someone can use this.HD has a weekend special on a 18 volt 4 piece tool kit. It has a Drill/Saw/Flashlight/Vacumn. Whenj you make the purchase there is a coupon near the tools for 18+ Tool. There are a variety of tools,I got the Laser guided Jigsaw, but they also had extra batterys as well. Hope this helps, Tommy

picked this up with a right angle drill as the "free" tool. I was surprised they had a lot of these. Usually HD has like a quantity of 5 for their specials.

Does anyone know if the 18v tools are compatible with the Li-Ion 18v Ryobi battery?

Yes, they are compatible with the lithium batteries.

The only thing that you can't (read: shouldn't) do is charge a lithium battery in a NiCad charger. Otherwise, the tools and batteries are swappable.

I scored one as well, I got the impact driver as my free tool.

I was one of the stupid ones who went out early, I got there around 6, they had a whole bunch and a good assortment of Ryobi "free tools" to choose from. When I went back later that night to pick something else for a project there were no more "4 packs" left and the Ryobi tools were picked through pretty well.

I also got the Porter Cable 6 gal pancake compressor for $99.
